Evaluation of Watersheds in India

This book is mainly dealing with the impact evaluation of watershed management programmes in    different rainfed AERs of India. The book is divided into the chapters viz; introduction, background information, methodology, findings, SWOT analysis, lessons learnt, and summary & recommendations. Various Bio-physical and Socio-economic indicators were taken into consideration while evaluating the watersheds implemented through different agencies like, NWDPRA, MoRD, ICAR/SAUs, International Donors and NGOs in the country.
